In G.O (P) No.547/2007/Fin dated 14/11/2007, Government have ordered additional 6% DA to State Government Employees, Teachers, Staff of Aided Schools, Private Colleges and Polytechnics, Full Time employees borne on the contingent and work charged establishments and employees of Local Bodies with effect from 01/01/2007.
The revised rate of DA due from 01/01/2007 (additional 6%) will be paid in cash with the salary due for the month of February 2008 onwards. The arrear for the period from 01/01/2007 to 31/01/2008 will be drawn and credited to the PF account of the employee along with the salary bill for the month of February 2008 to August 2008.
